As we are now becoming more enlightened and more aware of the relevance of energy in health and in medicine, homeopathy is about to take us all into a giant leap of progress – providing we choose to take or to continue this path, which to some requires courage.

The reason I say ‘courage ‘is that from my experience a state of fear exists that we or our children will become very ill if we stray away from conventional (allopathic) medicine – this is very far from reality and the fear is unnecessary.

What is Homeopathy and How Can Homeopathy Work?

Some 200 years ago Doctor Samuel Hahnemann revived the true law of cure – a law that has always existed in the Universe well before man arrived on the scene – he is considered to be the father of Homeopathy Medicine as we know it today. The fundamental operation of the law of cure can be explained by viewing the sick body as one of being low in vital energy – locked in a state of disfunction. By taking a suitable homeopathic remedy the level of this energy may be raised – and the body can then begin the process of self-repair. The response process can begin in seconds.

As living beings we are born with the natural ability to repair our own bodies. Even babies have this remarkable function. It may well be that the less a human is ‘contaminated’ the better the energy level they hold - nevertheless, most sick individuals can be lifted into a greater self healing energy state by the assistance of ‘energy medicine’.

Thirty Years in Homeopathy

When homeopathy was introduced to me approximately 30 years ago, saving the life of Bonnie, the family pet bearded collie, there were few people around me with such interest - this gave me a feeling of isolation. At the time I found great difficulty in finding people to talk to and to seek advice from. The way I overcame this problem was to give remedies to friends and relatives, creating my own group of interest by helping to get them well.

Even when learning this was not a difficult task – I found that getting people well was quite a simple process when respecting basic ‘homeopathic’ rules, which are well explained in all easily obtainable self-help books. Homeopathy kits containing homeopathic remedies sufficient for home use are also now readily available.

Having accepted the position of Chairman of the North Staffordshire Homeopathic Group in the early 1980’s, a position I still hold, it became my prime aim to educate anyone seeking knowledge or advice about this remarkable subject. Promoting homeopathy within the medical profession was an important function of the group and due to my disappointment in the lack of interest or support at that time from the medics in my local area, I ultimately decided to attend a Homeopathic College and to seek a qualification. Having qualified, I furthered my studies by completing my post graduate year.

An immensely rewarding period was that spent as a volunteer homeopath working in Johannesburg and Durban in South Africa. My journey to South Africa was intended as a visit to understand the work of Swami Narayani, who developed an amazing set of combination remedies. I found myself helping and advising local practitioners and visiting the ‘squatter’ camps. Another aspect was giving talks to practitioners and to the local Hindu community.

My enquiring nature would eventually lead me to Cosmic Ray Therapy, Gem Therapy and the use of colour generally as a holistic healing medium. I strongly believe that we are influenced by the energy rays of the sun in such a way that if we do not take in these rays in the way that we have been designed to then disease is the result.

Distance Healing, Radionics and Radiesthesia

The science of homeopathy has not stood still during the past 200 years and comparatively modern thinking has opened the enquiring mind to develop instruments that can be utilised for detecting where the illness is located in the body – this would come under the heading of Radionics. Further developments gave us instruments to enable ‘therapeutic energy signals’ (Distance Healing) to be transmitted by air waves. Radiesthesia is the use of dowsing to assist in the location of the disease and the remedy selection.
