Organics for Kids
Organics for Kids baby and child clothing is made from 100% organic cotton mostly Fairtrade and certified with either Skal, IMO or GOTS. Much of their range of baby clothing is Soil Association Certified and their dyes meet Oeko-tex standards and are free from harmful substances.
The majority of the baby clothing range is manufactured in England just outside Nottingham whilst a small selection of the range is manufactured by a Fairtrade approved factory in India.
Organics for Kids use the finest organic textiles. Their cotton and linen are free from pesticides and artificial fertilisers, and the farmers who grow them receive a fair price for their crop. Their organic baby clothes are beautifully made from medium weight organic cotton. All the organic baby clothing items from organics for kids have been finely finished, are snugly and comfortable, and are practical to care for. They wash brilliantly and last exceptionally well. Great value for money and worth every penny.
Non-organic cotton is responsible for a quarter of global insecticide use each year, going organic makes a real difference. As well as the environment and the farmers. The use of pesticides on non-organic cotton has serious health implications. The World Health Organisation estimates that 20,000 people die each year as a result of unsafe pesticide use, mainly in developing countries. As well as the human costs, there are environmental problems associated with non-organic cotton growing, such as reduced soil fertility, loss of biodiversity and water pollution. Organic farming methods can help to address these problems
