Made to Measure Bedroom Products Service
The made to measure service is available for Abaca and Prolana Mattresses, Bed
frames, Slatted bed bases. If you do not find the size
you require in our online catalogue then please follow the instructions below
to create or enquire about the product of your choice.
Costing of Made to Measure widths or reduced lengths on mattresses, duvets and
comforters, is charged at the cost of the next largest standard size above the
size you order. For example, for a 150 x 190 product you would be asked to pay
the 160 x 200 price for that same product. Mattresses, duvets and comforters
required with an additional length of length above 200cm cost an additional 15%
of the price above the comparable price of the standard length product.
Made to measure Slatted bed bases cost an extra £45 per frame in addition to the
cost of the frame itself. So, if your bed needs 2 frames, that charge would be
£90 to have them made
Measuring Sizes
Mattresses that are required to fit into a bed frame, rather than resting on a
flat, open base should be measured by calculating the maximum internal length
and width of the available space within the frame. The same applies for Slatted
Bed Frames.
The manufacturer will then make your mattress(s) or base(s) to fit those
internal dimensions.
Wooden Bed Frames
Prolana are able to provide some degree of customisation to most of their bed
frames, such as custom size widths, additional length or greater height.
For a quote on this service, we require the model of bed frame you are
interested in and the type of alteration you would like and we will ask Prolana
to confirm if that can be done for you and the price we would charge. This may
be in the region of £100 to £150.
