Auro water thinnable Silk Eggshell, is a solvent free topcoat which can be used for interior or exterior surfaces.
It is available in white, or a range of naturally tinted premixed colours.
HOW TO USE:
For best results apply two coats for both internal and external jobs with 24 hours to dry in between.
Auro natural silk eggshell paint is safe for use on children's cots and toys.
Use on Wood, Metal, Plaster & Masonary.
Bare wood: Use preservative if softwood & external, follow with Primer and Underoat first.
When repainting: strip back to bare wood, use primer and undercoat first
On metal: use metal primer first
1 litre will cover approximately 11 sq metres
Auro solvent free gloss and silk paints are not prone to cracking and peeling unlike synthetic acrylics. If properly applied you can expect the exterior gloss system to last 3 5 years providing a tough and flexible coating. Because no volatile solvents or chemical hardeners are used, drying times are dependent on temperature and humidity more than conventional paints. This means that conditions should be cool and moist when decorating (temperatures not exceeding 21°C/70°F) to avoid over rapid drying of paint during application. Also, after painting, conditions should be warm and dry to speed up completion of the job. Good ventilation should be maintained at all times.
Because of the tough properties of the paint and in order to avoid using volatile solvents, clean brushes with Auro 415 Cleaning Solution and hot water.

BInder resin made from linseed oil, castor oil, sunflower oil and colphony glycerine ester, partly as ammoinium soap, mineral pigments and fillers, water, detergent made from castor and rape oil, lecithin, methyl cellulose, gum xanthanum, borate, silicate, ca/co/zr drying agents (lead free)
