Auro water thinnable Silk Eggshell, is a solvent free topcoat for interior and exterior use for those who prefer a finish with sheen.
It is available in white, or a wide range of naturally tinted premixed colours.
HOW TO USE:
For best results apply two coats for both internal and external jobs with 24 hours to dry in between.
Safe for use on children's cots and toys.
1 litre will cover approximately 11 sq metres
Auro solvent free gloss and silk paints are not prone to cracking and peeling as are synthetic acrylics. If properly applied you can expect the exterior gloss to last 3 to 5 years which will provide a tough and flexible coating.
Because of the absence of volatile solvents and chemical hardeners drying times are more dependent on temperature and humidity than conventional paints.
Ideally conditions should be cool and moist when you are decorating (temperatures not exceeding 21°C/70°F) otherwise you will have over rapid drying of paint during application.
In addition, after painting, conditions should be warm and dry to speed up the drying process. Good ventilation is essential at all times.
Because of the tough properties of the natural paint and in order to avoid using volatile solvents, clean brushes with Auro 415 Cleaning Solution and hot water.
Auro 260 can be used on wood, metal, plaster and masonary.On bare wood, use preservative on soft external wood first, the primer followed by undercoat.
When repainting: Strip back the use primer and undercoat first.
On metal: use primer first

BInder resin made from linseed oil, castor oil, sunflower oil and colphony glycerine ester, partly as ammoinium soap, mineral pigments and fillers, water, detergent made from castor and rape oil, lecithin, methyl cellulose, gum xanthanum, borate, silicate, ca/co/zr drying agents (lead free)
