Made of thick layers of luxurious organic wool on its own or can be combined with either natural horsehair or latex to make a futon created for exquisite comfort.
Spingier than the Deshi cotton and Kapok futons, wool is a thick and denser fabric that does not compact so much over time. Wool has excellent temperature qualities to keep your temperature at just the right level as you sleep. It wicks away moisture as you sleep ensuring you are dry and comfortable. It is also dustmite repellant. Horsehair is also an excellent fabric for regulating temperature and whisks away moisture very well. It is used by all the finest bed makers due to its durability and comfort. Pure natural latex is not only excllent for allergy sufferers, but also lends antibacterial qualities to the futon.
On its own the wool creates a firm futon option, which becomes slightly softer when you add an inner core of horsehair. The wool and latex option produces a springier mattress that is resilient and cushiony.
The Organic wool futon is flexible and relatively soft but its true comfort is revealed when it is used in combination with the Futon Slatted Deck.
