Raw Gaia’s wildcrafted and fairtrade shea butter is rich in vitamins A, E & F and is a perfect for use as a general everyday moisturiser or as a treatment for skin conditions such as dry skin, eczema, sunburn, itching & skin blemishes. It is also considered to have sun-blocking properties.
Shea butter is a wonderful moisturiser for the body. It makes the skin feel smooth and soft immedietly. Shea butter helps to repair dry skin conditions, chapped lips and rough knees, elbows and hands.
Please note that shea butter is made through a heat process, so it is not cold-pressed or raw like the rest of our main ingredients. Despite this it still has amazing moisturising and nourishing qualities. Raw gaia source their shea butter through fair trade. It has is wildcrafted so has been produced without the intervention of chemicals.
Raw Gaia’s shea butter is blended with organic cold-pressed apricot kernel oil only, in order to keep it as pure, simple and nourishing as possible.
To use, just rub into the skin. Shea butter melts and is absorbed very quickly.

Organic, cold-pressed apricot kernel oil: An emollient, non-greasy, skin conditioning agent, that is particularly effective for tired, mature and sensitive skin.
