An affordable and very high quality red which is appealing and highly drinkable made for early drinking in a very open and fruity style, it comes from Jacques Frelin's estate Domaine de Caylus.

Crisp, clean and soft with rounded apricot and grapefruit flavours - very refreshing. La Mancha is the largest wine growing region in Europe, has low wine yields per vine due to climatic conditions. The Airen grapes used for this wine are picked early, making the wine light and fresh.

Domaine le Soleiller, VDP Hérault Blanc 2005
Midi white with 'fleurs blanches' and slightly lemon aroma (a hint of Muscat in the blend has lifted the grape aromas and flavours). Fairly full flavoured and fruity with good balance. An appealing and well-priced addition.
This white will be suitable for vegans again from the 2005 vintage onwards.
