Terms and Conditions
General
These terms and conditions will apply to all transactions placed
online, by e-mail, telephone or by post with Buy Organics Ltd. Please
read carefully before placing any order. All contracts shall be governed
by and construed in accordance with English Law and any dispute between
us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
Nothing in these terms and conditions will be deemed to affect your
statutory rights. By using this site you are agreeing to these terms
and conditions'. All transactions with Buy Organics Ltd will be governed
by these terms and conditions.
All references to the 'company', 'us', ‘our’ or 'we' will
refer to Buy Organics Ltd. All references to ‘you’ or
the ‘customer’ shall mean the person or persons purchasing
or agreeing to purchase goods from the company. All references to
the Web Site shall include reference to all URL's owned by Buy Organics
Ltd. All references to ‘standard orders’ include all products
other than collections of wines, beers and drinks, mattresses and
beds, and paints other than sample pots of paints and varnishes.
Prices and Tax Charges
All prices are shown in pound sterling (£) and are stated both
exclusive and inclusive of UK VAT at the current rate unless clearly
stated otherwise. All orders are charged in GB pounds. Your local
card provider will bill you in your local currency. You must check
your local currency conversion rate for the cost in your local currency.
All orders sent to countries outside the EU are VAT exempt and we
will charge these at the pre VAT price. It is our policy to offer
goods at the most reasonable price possible, however, if, due to circumstances
beyond our control, we deem it necessary to alter any advertised price,
we reserve the right to do so without prior notice.
Prices and specifications are checked to the best of our ability,
and whilst every effort has been made to make them accurate, no responsibility
will be accepted for errors and omissions.
Payment
We are pleased to accept orders by any of the following methods. Online
transaction (secure server), e-mail (unsecure), telephone, and cheque
by post. All credit / debit card transactions are subject to validation
checks and are authorised by the card issuer. We accept MasterCard,
Visa, Delta, Switch and Solo. If the issuer of your card refuses to
authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay and /
or non-delivery of your order. We are unable to accept or process
any credit/debit card orders without a valid card payment in the name
of the registered cardholder.
All online and over the phone and postal payments are made through
Protx. After placing your order the server will transfer you
to Protx secure payment server through which you will make
your payment. Once this has been done, you will be transferred back
to the BuyOrganics website. In this way you can be rest assured that
your payments are being made in as secure an environment as possible.
Payments taken over the phone are put through to Protx immediately
and a receipt will be sent with your goods. Postal payments by cheque
or money order will need to clear first before your order can be dispatched.
This may take up to 3 working days. All orders and shipping are quoted
in Pound Sterling. All payments are taken in Pounds Sterling, please
check your statement for the local currency equivalent.
Security
We are fully committed to providing full security both through our
on-line and mail order service. We use secure socket layer (SSL) technology
to ensure that your details are safe for all sales transactions with
us. All information you provide is fully encrypted so that it cannot
be read by third parties.

Orders out of stock
Buy Organics Ltd aims to deliver goods of the highest quality. Every
effort is made to display only items that are in stock or which can
be dispatched to you quickly or direct from the manufacturer. From
time to time we may be unable to meet our usual delivery times due
to certain items being unavailable, in which case we will advise you
immediately. If this does occur, you will be given the opportunity
to 1) order an alternative, 2) have the products sent as soon as they
become available or 3) to cancel the order.
Alcohol and the Law
Under UK law, we are unable to sell alcoholic drinks for consumption
by anyone under the age of 18. When you place an order for alcohol
with Buy Organics Ltd, you are confirming that you are at least 18
years old and that you will not provide alcohol to be consumed by
anyone under the age of 18.
Packaging materials
We use biodegradable void fill and paper bubble wrap, in our boxes
where possible, all of which break down quickly and naturally. We
use paper tape to seal our boxes making the majority of the package
recyclable plus all the paper and envelopes we use within the business
are made from recycled materials. Mostly, padded bags are used for
small orders, these are made from a high percentage of recycled materials,
the padding which puffs up in transit, is made from shredded newspapers.
The bags are burst resistant and offer maximum protection for fragile
items. Wherever possible all outgoing parcels are packed using materials
re-cycled in-house, reducing the waste we generate and our resource
consumption
Delivery
Orders will be shipped within 1 – 7 working days unless otherwise
stated. Where possible we try to ship directly from the manufacturer
to you in-order to cut down on product miles that our goods do. We
trust that customers will understand if some goods arrive separately
for this reason. You will not be charged extra for this.
Goods are shipped either through Royal Mail recorded delivery or
through a courier company, we use Parcel line at the moment because
they are reliable and friendly. if you ever find otherwise, let us
know! Goods over 1750 kg will be shipped via Parcel Line, goods under
this weight will be shipped via Royal mail. There is an extra charge
for Saturday delivery on items that are shipped through Parcel Line.
Delivery prices are determined by weight, we do this to ensure that
you are only charged what it costs me to pack and ship the items to
you. We have tried to work this out in bands to make it more cost
effective. Hence if you look at the chart below you’ll see that
we charge you a fixed cost for shipping anything under 100g and a
fixed cost for anything over 100g up to 200g. This means that if you
buy a little bit more you will not get charged a lot more. We do not
charge you according to how much money you spend with us as we don’t
think this is entirely fair. Cost of delivery of items to addresses
in UK mainland is capped at £7.91 despite what you buy. You
will not pay more than this.
It is strongly advised that customers provide a delivery address
where someone will be available to collect delivery items from Monday
to Friday. If you expect to be out when the delivery is likely to
be made, please advise us of a neighbour’s address or secure
place where your order can be left. We cannot guarantee that the goods
will be left in the place you designate, especially if sent through
Royal mail. Unfortunately that’s all down to your if your local
postman is in a good mood!
If you have requested that orders be left in a secure place designated
by yourself, buyOrganics cannot take responsibility for it if it goes
missing. Any replacements will be made at the discretion of the company.
If no one is available to receive the goods and it cannot be left
for you at the delivery address then you will be left a card, with
details of collection or re-delivery. Larger orders over 1kg that
have been sent through another carrier will be re-delivered up to
3 times following the first failed delivery attempt. Should you then
be unavailable the package will be returned to us and you may be liable
to pay the returned postage cost which will be the same as the outgoing
charge in-order to receive your goods.
A failed delivery charge of £20 will be charged on deliveries
of mattresses where no one is there to receive them. This is because
we arrange it with you previously, so you don’t get any surprises.

Local Delivery
Live local to Stanmore, Middlesex?
Customers living in certain postal areas, HA0, HA1, HA2, HA3, HA4,
HA5, HA6, HA7, HA8 and HA9 may have standard orders delivered to their
home free of charge, we can arrange a convenient time for delivery

International delivery out side of UK mainland
The maximum weight of goods that can be ordered online is 30kg. Orders
over this weight will need a shipping quote. Please contact us at

for this. All international orders are shipped through first class
mail. Prices to ship internationally are a little more expensive because
we send them recorded and signed for delivery through Royal mail.
This is ensures that the goods you have spent money o get to you safely.
Dispatch is normally within 24 to 48 hours of ordering. Most orders
to Europe arrive 2 to 4 working days after dispatch. Most orders to
USA, Japan etc arrive 3 to 5 working days after dispatch. Proof of
posting is obtained on all orders.
Paints, Wines and Beers cannot be shipped internationally at this
time. Orders of over 50 cases of wine or Beer maybe considered.

Mattresses/Beds
For bespoke items (mattresses, beds, furniture) delivery usually takes
4-6 weeks following the placement of an order. We will contact you
directly to arrange a date on which the mattress will be delivered.
Delivery conditions are according to the manufacturer’s terms
and conditions as stated below. Mattresses incur a £12 - 45
heavy delivery charge for all orders to the UK mainland. Overseas
customers and customers outside of mainland UK will be contacted directly
in-order to arrange postage and packaging at the time of placing your
order. Carrier deliveries are made from Monday to Friday (Saturday
with a surcharge) No product will be dispatched without an agreed
delivery date.
If you are not available to take collection of your goods on the
arranged date, a charge of £25 will be made to cover part of
the cost of the failed delivery.
The carrier will have left their card with contact details. It is
in your interest to contact them as soon as possible since every extra
journey your goods make increases the likelihood of damage. If the
carrier fails to deliver for reasons beyond their control they will
contact you at the earliest possible opportunity.
Mattresses can be difficult to handle, please ensure that you have
enough help on hand when your delivery takes place. We ensure that
the packaging is sufficiently strong to cope with all normal handling.
When your goods arrive, please ensure that there are no rips or tears
to the mattress and/or that the bed has not been scratched or damaged.
The driver is allowed to wait for 10 minutes while you do this. Please
ensure that you have enough people on hand to help you carry the goods
and that the mattress does not bend or fold over on itself, this may
cause irreparable damage and is not covered by your guarantee.
In the unlikely event that there is any damage when the goods arrive,
please DO NOT accept delivery, DO NOT sign the delivery sheet, instead
ask the driver for a damaged freight report which will need your signature.
Contact us as soon as is practicable. Goods are not covered by transit
insurance once you have accepted delivery. Your statutory rights are
not affected.
Drinks
Wines, juices, ciders (75cl) and spirits are sent out in multiples
of 12 bottles.
You can mix the cases as you wish through our collections page. Beers
and ciders (33cl and 50cl) are sent as cases of one type, in 20's
or 24's depending on the type.
Minimum order is one case. Orders are sent with a two day carrier,
who will deliver during the day, Monday to Friday. We are not able
to specify a time but you can request that the case be left with a
neighbour or in a safe place if you are out.
We aim to deliver within a week of receiving your order, usually within
3 days, although delays are likely at Christmas.
If there are any items out of stock we will substitute with an item
of similar style and quality. If you do NOT want us to do this, and
would like us to contact you regarding substitutions, please make
a note of this in the comment box and we will either phone or email
you.
Paint
All orders are normally dispatched within 7 days; if there is likely
to be a delay we inform you as soon as possible. Orders are delivered
from Monday to Friday. We aim to ship within one day of receiving
an order and orders received before 11am are usually dispatched same
day. Orders placed after 11am on Friday, any time on Saturday or Sunday
are not packed until Monday at the earliest. Unless the products delivered
to you are not as per your order, or are damaged on delivery then
we cannot accept returns and refunds of paints. Your statutory rights
are not affected. You must inform us within 24 hrs of delivery if
the goods received are damaged.
Returns and Exchanges:
We want you to be entirely satisfied with every purchase made from
Buy Organics Ltd as we aim to offer you excellent quality, value and
service at all times. We doubt you’ll need to use this service
as we believe wholeheartedly in the high quality and purity of the
items we sell. For that reason you can return or exchange goods within
14 working days following delivery as long as they are in their original
packaging, have not been used and are re-saleable unless otherwise
stated in delivery of ‘product’ section. Your statutory
rights are not affected.
An invoice marked paid will be dispatched to you for all purchases.
This is your proof of payment (and also your warranty for mattresses
/beds). If you wish to return an item for exchange or you have decided
not to keep it, simply contact us first within 7 days of receipt of
item by email at www.buyorganics.co.uk or on 02089521424, stating
your invoice number and the goods which are being returned. Returned
items must be accompanied by a copy of your paid invoice and accompanied
by original packaging. Goods should arrive back with us no later than
14 days after your having received them. Customers should arrange
their own return courier. If, however Buy Organics Ltd, are required
to arrange pickup and return delivery of an item, the full cost of
arranging that service will be deducted from the refunded amount.
After we have established that the item is unused and undamaged, you
will be refunded the entire sales price excluding original cost of
delivery, and if applicable, the cost of return service. Within thirty
days. All goods must be in a new and unused condition together. If
you are in any doubt, please contact us on telephone number 0208 952
1424. We recommend you obtain proof of posting for returns as we cannot
accept liability for goods that do not reach us.
Return address
All standard goods may be returned to:
If returned; mattresses and alcohol must be returned to our
manufacturers/suppliers. The addresses will be provided at time of
return Please contact us before returning any such items.
Damaged goods
If you receive goods that are faulty or that have been damaged in
transit, contact us as soon as possible or within 3 days of receipt
of goods at www.buyorganics.co.uk or on 0208952 1424, stating your
order number and the goods that are damaged /faulty. Send the goods
back to us at 54 Broadcroft Avenue, Stanmore, Middlesex, HA7 1PF,
within a reasonable time, preferably within 7 working days following
receipt of the goods. We will then credit your account for the damaged
goods or re-dispatch as appropriate. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
On some occasions goods will need to be returned straight to our manufacturer,
and not to the address stated above. You will be advised of this when
you initially email us, it is therefore necessary for you to contact
us in the first instance.
Damaged Drinks
If there is a problem with your order please contact us. We will credit
you for single damaged / out of condition bottles, or re-despatch
as appropriate.
Returns and Cancellations of mattresses and beds.
If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for whatever reason you
may, preferably within 7 days of delivery, contact us to arrange for
collection of the goods at your expense. All deposits are non-refundable.
This option does not apply to Products customised to your specific
needs and requirements. Any money, which the Buyer has paid, will
be refunded within 30 days provided that the goods are returned to
the manufacturer in their original packaging and same condition as
at the time of delivery to the customer. Items, which are not adequately
packaged at time of collection, will not be collected and a charge
of £25 will be levied to cover the cost of the failed collection.
Mattresses can only be returned if they are unopened. Mattresses which
have been opened and slept on cannot be returned. If you wish to test
a mattress it must be kept wrapped until you have made a decision
on its suitability.
Acceptance of Mattresses and Beds
According to the manufacturer’s returns policy, you
shall be deemed to have accepted the Products 7 working days after
acceptance of delivery. After acceptance you shall not be entitled
to return mattresses/beds. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Damaged or faulty Mattresses
In the unlikely event that you receive a mattress/bed that has sustained
any damage, please DO NOT accept delivery, DO NOT sign the delivery
sheet, instead ask the driver for a damaged freight report which will
need your signature. Contact us as soon as is practicable. Goods are
not covered by transit insurance once you have accepted delivery.
Warranties and liability of Mattress/beds
All mattresses and beds supplied by Buy Organics Ltd come with a manufacturer's
warranty of 12 months. Your invoice is your warranty, keep it safe.
In the event of a claim, customers should in the first instance contact
the Buy Organics Ltd. Do not allow your mattress to fall or be bent
over as damage may be irreparable and is not covered under warranty.
Distance Selling Regulations
You have a right to cancel your order within seven working days following
the day after the date of delivery for any item purchased through
the website under the distance selling regulations for refund. Refunds
will be made within 30 days of cancellation. This does not apply to
any item customised or items made to your specification.
To cancel any item, you can e-mail, telephone, or write to us quoting
your invoice number. You must take reasonable care of the items, and
must not use them. Goods must be returned to us within seven days
of your notice to cancel. All goods are returned at your own expense
unless the item is deemed faulty or incorrect, where we will refund
the cost on receipt of the goods. Should you require your unwanted
goods to be collected, we will deduct the appointed courier’s
direct costs from the refund given.
Providing the goods are received back in an unused condition, and
with all accessories, you will receive a refund within thirty days
of your notice to cancel.
Reasonable care implies that it is the customers responsibility
to ensure that the goods are kept in a safe, clean, dry, damp-free
and cool environment and for hygiene reasons, that seals are not broken
prior to return. If there is no seal then customers may open products
to look at them but not use or try the contents.
Products
Products are sold singly unless otherwise stated. Every effort is
made to ensure the colours depicted on the site match as closely as
possible those of the actual product. Due to technical limitations,
some colours may vary. Buy Organics Ltd cannot be held responsible
for variations in hue or colour of any products. With regards to ordering
paint, Buy Organics Ltd advises that you firstly purchase a sample
pot to get a better idea of the colour before placing large orders,
however it should be noted that batches do vary, so slight variations
may occur.
INSURANCE!!
Force Majeure
We will not be liable for non-performances of our obligations caused
or resulting from industrial disputes or any other circumstances beyond
the reasonable control of the company such as act of God, riots, civil
commotion, flood, fire, terrorism, war and legislation; petrol crisis
and transport or weather disruptions. If by reason of such circumstances
it shall become impossible within a reasonable time for the company
to wholly or partly supply the items ordered then the customer's liability
will be limited to the value of the items already supplied together
with any associated delivery charges.
Content
Any information displayed on our web site(s) or other printed matter
by the company is not regarded to be authoritative or certified as
the best practice and is only considered to be useful supplementary
advice to other certified codes of practice. All information on our
web site is updated regularly.
Ownership of Goods
All items supplied to the customer remain the property of Buy Organics
Ltd. until final payment of all sums owing in respect of those goods
has been received in full by us.
Complaints
Any complaint can be communicated directly to Buy Organics Ltd. We
will endeavour to deal with your complaint within five working days
of receipt. In the event where we cannot resolve your complaint immediately
we will advise a likely time scale to you and keep you informed of
